Biography

Megan Roper is an associate attorney in the firm’s asbestos litigation department. Megan started her career with BPB in April of 2014 as a law clerk. Now an attorney, Megan continues to further her legal education and experience in a variety of practice areas including toxic tort and general personal injury claims.

Megan graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She went on to attend University of Houston where she received her Juris Doctor as well as her Masters in Business Administration. While at the University of Houston Law Center, Megan participated in the Alternative Dispute Resolution Team where she placed second in the Regional ABA Client Counseling Competition. Megan also served as the Vice President and Secretary of the Aggie Law Society, the Internal Affairs Director of the Student Bar Association, the Internal Vice President of The Advocates, and the Recent Developments Editor of the Journal of Consumer & Commercial Law. Additionally, Megan is a Certified Mediator with specialized training in Advanced Family Mediation. Megan also has a certificate in Commercial Arbitration from the AA White Dispute Resolution Center.

Megan is an active member of the American Association for Justice, Texas Trial Lawyers Association, Houston Trial Lawyers Association, and Houston Young Lawyers Association. Megan is also a member of the State Bar of Texas and the American Bar Association.
