Two Injured in Awning Collapse at Rodeo
At the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo last Tuesday, an awning at a vendor’s booth collapsed, injuring two people. The two individuals, a male and female, were transported to a local hospital. The collapsing awning occurred at the outdoor both for an Aramark vendor. The officials of the company as well as those who run the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo were investigating the exact cause of the collapsing awning.
There are a number of reasons that the awning may have collapsed, including faulty design or untrained individuals putting the structure together. If someone is injured because of one of these mistakes, the victim may be able to take legal action to seek compensation for any damages sustained as a result of the accident. If the awning collapsed because of something wrong on the grounds, it may also result in a premises liability claim to hold the landowner accountable.
These cases are often complex because they require serious legal assistance. This is crucial to help prove that the injury sustained was caused by the something falling and then determining who is to blame for the accident.
