Mike Perrin is a founding partner in the law firm of Bailey Perrin Bailey. His practice is devoted to the preparation and trial of civil litigation, personal injury litigation, and mass torts. Prior to that, he spent nine years at King & Spalding, where he also served as managing partner of the Houston office.

Mike was previously managing partner of Fisher, Gallagher, Perrin & Lewis, a premier personal injury firm located in Houston. His trial experience includes oil field cases, refinery and chemical plant cases, pipeline cases, trucking and automobile cases, aviation cases (including private aircraft as well as common carriers), admiralty cases, railroad grade crossing collisions, and FELA cases.

A particular interest of Mike’s has been trial work involving electrical transformers, overhead power lines, and other injury cases arising from the distribution of electrical energy.

Mike is a Fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers, the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, the International Society of Barristers, and the American Board of Trial Advocates. He has served as a member of the Board of Governors of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. He was President of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association for the term of 1989-1990, and served on the Executive Committee from 1988-1991. He was certified as a Specialist in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in 1978, and has maintained that certification since that time.

As one of the lawyers for heirs of the late Howard Hughes, Mike served on the Board of Directors of the Howard Hughes Corporation from 1994 until 1996, when that corporation was merged into The Rouse Company.

Mike has been recognized by the publishers of Law & Politics and Texas Monthly as a Texas Super Lawyer as well as being named one of the best lawyers in American by the oldest lawyer-rating publication in the U.S., the Best Lawyers publishers.
