Ken BaileyKen Bailey is a founding partner in the law firm of Bailey Perrin Bailey LLP. His practice is primarily devoted to mass torts and personal injury litigation. Before founding Bailey Perrin Bailey, Ken was also a founder and name partner with the Houston law firm of Williams Bailey Law Firm, LLP. At Williams Bailey, Ken participated in numerous mass tort and personal injury litigation lawsuits, including the representation of the State of Texas against the tobacco companies in 1997 that resulted in the largest settlement in U.S. history. Ken also successfully represented thousands of plaintiffs in the Fen-phen litigation, and the representation of numerous catastrophic oil refinery explosion lawsuits and tens of thousands of asbestos and other pneumoconiosis individual lawsuits. Prior to Williams Bailey, Ken worked at the Provost Umphrey Law Firm in Beaumont, Texas from 1983 - 1994. Similar to his experience at Williams Bailey, Ken devoted his practice to mass torts and personal injury litigation. At Provost Umphrey, Ken represented numerous unions in their personal injury cases and settled two major class actions, the Wanda Jenkins Class action 1986 and Cimino Class Action 1991, resulting in favorable settlements for his clients. Ken has earned a reputation among his colleagues, peers and adversaries as a masterful, tough and skillful negotiator. Ken personally negotiated several large and complex civil litigation cases for victims of corporate wrongdoing. Ken was the son of an oil worker and was raised in the Humble Camp in Beaumont, Texas. Ken has never forgotten his roots and has been a life time friend to the labor unions and environment. |
