Elizabeth Williams DwyerElizabeth was hired by Bailey Perrin Bailey upon graduation from law school to participate in both the firm’s trial and appellate practices. Elizabeth serves on the firm’s multi-district and complex litigations dockets, with a concentration in government fraud, products liability and personal injury claims. Primarily, Elizabeth prosecutes Medicaid fraud and consumer protection claims against pharmaceutical manufacturers on behalf of numerous States’ Attorneys General and private third-party payor funds. In addition, she represents personal injury plaintiffs in mass tort litigations in state and federal courts nationwide. Elizabeth graduated from the University of Texas, at Austin, with a bachelor’s degree in Biology and, in 2007, graduated from South Texas College of Law, in Houston, where she received her Juris Doctor. While in law school, Elizabeth was consistently named to the Dean’s List and was a member of the nationally recognized Varsity Moot Court Team. In addition, Elizabeth served as the intern to the Chief Legal Counsel of one of the country’s largest healthcare systems and gained extensive experience in healthcare law. She also served as a law clerk on several large personal injury trial and appellate dockets and acquired vast experience in the prosecution of Jones Act and other catastrophic injury claims in state and federal courts. Elizabeth is licensed to practice in Texas state and federal district courts and before the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. She is an active member of the American Association for Justice and the Texas Trial Lawyers Association and is also a member of the State Bar of Texas and American Bar Association. |
