Experience and Practice AreaWhile in law school, David was recognized for his academic excellence by making the Dean’s List and receiving the American Jurisprudence Award in Torts and Appellate Advocacy. David was also an accomplished member of the nationally recognized appellate advocacy and mock trial team of South Texas College of Law. Since graduating from law school in 1993, David has dedicated his entire legal career to achieving justice for individuals harmed by corporate misconduct. In his pursuit, David has handled hundreds of complex cases involving catastrophic injuries, toxic exposures, medical malpractice, defective products, premises liability, employment discrimination and civil rights. In successfully representing the interests of his clients, David has taken hundreds of expert and corporate representative depositions, handled complex trial and appellate court hearings and presentations, tried cases to verdict and negotiated millions of dollars in settlements. Currently, David is a lead trial lawyer in Bailey Perrin Bailey’s asbestos litigation department, handling mesothelioma cases filed nationally. David’s primary practice area is toxic tort law, including products liability, premises liability, and employer liability.
